Energy and technology: $29.8 billion

Most of the money is going toward building broadband infrastructure and developing green energy. Of interest to some members may be the Diesel Retrofit program. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has $50 million in stimulus funding to be used to reduce emissions from diesel engines nationwide, including those used in exiting fleets of construction equipment.
