Where Is Your Money Going? >
Whether you are a business looking to secure projects funded by stimulus dollars or a taxpayer who wants to know how your government is spending your money in your community, this site will present you with the most comprehensive, real-time view of this information.

Already, PCI has formed an action-oriented task group to investigate the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (stimulus package). The group is focusing on gathering information and helping PCI members take advantage of the opportunities the stimulus package creates.

“The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act that was passed and signed recently offers more opportunity than just roads and bridges,” says Bill Ray, chairman of the task group. This is extra spending beyond that already identified and appropriated in the federal budget. Extra infrastructure spending totals $143 billion, only 18% of which is designed for roads and bridges. In some cases, federal and state agencies have identified specific projects for this spending. In other cases, program requirements have been identified and many projects may qualify. Much of this spending is provided on a use-it-or-lose-it basis, which can be ideal for precast concrete. Below is a summary of the funding by program.
